A little about us: UCSD Medical Center provides leading-edge patient care, biomedical research, education and community service, through two hospital locations and a network of outpatient facilities, including a Level 1 Trauma Center and a Regional Burn Center.

Trauma patients are seen by a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including trauma surgeons, trauma nurses, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, plastic surgeons and spine specialists. All aspects of care and all subspecialties in medicine are coordinated in the care of each trauma patient.
