Privacy Policy

Recycling for Charities takes privacy seriously, and we operate our services with the protection of your privacy in mind. This policy covers how Recycling for Charities treats personal information that Recycling for Charities collects and receives for our services on the Recycling for Charities websites. It applies generally to the Recycling for Charities.com website and content and other related websites where this policy appears in the footer of each page. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, physical address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.

Collection of Information and Usage

You are not required to register at Recycling for Charities. However, when you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, and zip code; once you register with Recycling for Charities and sign in to our services, you are no longer anonymous to us. Recycling for Charities collects personal and non-personal information when you use Recycling for Charities products or services, transactional information when you donate an item, when you register with Recycling for Charities to receive donations or when you visit Recycling for Charities pages, when you provide information we may ask you for to authenticate yourself, when you complete a survey.

Recycling for Charities automatically receives and records non-personal information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, browser type, browser language, date and time of your query, Recycling for Charities cookie information, and any pages that your browser requests.

Recycling for Charities uses information for the following general purposes: to customize the advertising and content you see, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, conduct research and to contact you under certain circumstances. We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with Recycling for Charities under confidentiality agreements. Text and Other Links

Recycling for Charities may present links in a format that enables us to understand whether they have been followed. We use this information to understand and improve the quality of Recycling for Charities's search technology.

Your Ability to Edit and Delete Your Account Information and Preferences

Registered Charity users can edit their Recycling for Charities Account Information, including contact preferences, at any time at their account at http://www.MyRFC.org.

We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to Recycling for Charities services, such as service announcements, administrative messages and the Recycling for Charities Newsletter, that are considered part of your Recycling for Charities account.

You can delete your Recycling for Charities registered account by requesting an account deletion via email to support@recyclingforcharities.com. After we have confirmed your request via email, we will remove access to your personal information from our user database.

Confidentiality and Security

We limit access to personal information about you to our employees and agents who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.

Your information is stored on our servers located in the United States. We treat data as an asset that must be protected and use many tools to protect your personal information against unauthorized access. Third Parties

This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that Recycling for Charities does not own or control or to people that Recycling for Charities does not employ or manage. Recycling for Charities's website may include applications, content and/or ads from third parties that may perform user activity tracking in addition to that described herein; Recycling for Charities accepts no responsibility for those said activities. Recycling for Charities does not control the privacy policies of third parties, and you are subject to the privacy policies of those third parties where applicable. We encourage you to ask questions before you disclose your personal information to others.

Privacy Policy Changes

We may amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting the amended terms on this site. All amended terms take effect immediately after they are initially posted on the site, unless that amendment states otherwise.
