A little about us: OLPH Twirlers is a non-profit organization, bringing the sport of recreational baton twirling to the community for the past 33 years. We belong to the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help. We inspire, motivate, foster leadership, teamwork and competition to children in the Sunset Park/Bay Ridge and Park Slope areas of Brooklyn, NY. Sunset Park, where the school is based, is a low income community consisting of working class Hispanics, Asians and Anglos. We are a self supporting volunteer program. We instill volunteerism in our children, as they serve the community by marching in parades and performing events.
