A little about us: CANTER accepts ALL racetrack Thoroughbreds, regardless of injury, provides surgery at MSU, boarding, medical care,training. Finds new homes thru CANTER website listings. All-volunteer organization. No salaries. Canter saves horses from slaughter. Thousands now in new homes. Canter intakes and transitions hundreds of thoroughbreds every year, all costs paid by donations. All donations are spent on horses care and finding homes.
