The Second Chance at Life's mission is to support transplant patients who cannot otherwise afford, prescriptions, medical bills, and other necessities during and/or after a transplant as determined and referred by local Michigan hospitals and reviewed by independent Board Members. It is the hope of this volunteer organization that through our efforts, we are able to extend our services to all existing hospitals in the Southeastern Michigan area, as well, as helping these hospitals increase awareness of the need for individuals to register as organ donors, while supporting cutting-edge research to improve treatment options and care for transplant patients.
