Faith in Action of Marathon County
A little about us: Faith in Action is an interfaith volunteer care-giving program that brings together
volunteers from many faith backgrounds to work together to care for their elderly and disabled
neighbors in need. Non-medical supportive services are offered at no charge to anyone aged 60+ or disabled adults who are receiving SSI or SSDI residing in Marathon County WI.
Faith in Action volunteers come from all faith backgrounds as well as the community at large.
By providing supportive services members of the community who have long-term health needs can maintain their independence for as long as possible.
Services include: Friendly Visiting, Light Housekeeping, Short-Term Respite Care,
Shopping with or for a person, Telephone Reassurance Calls, Medical
Transportation, Assistance with paper work, Seasonal Yard work, Minor
Home Repairs and Construction of Handicap Access Ramps
