Support Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision by donating your used electronics!

Recycling for Charities, a non-profit organization committed to protecting the environment by ensuring proper e-waste disposal has partnered with Southwest Detroit Environmental Vision. For each cell phone, pager, PDA, digital camera or Inkjet cartridge donated, SWDEV will receive a monetary donation from RFC. All makes and models, regardless of working condition will be accepted. Phones must be deactivated before they are donated.

RFC is dedicated to helping other charities and organizations while helping the environment. "We are giving individuals the opportunity to invest in the environment and their community in one step" said RFC president, Dwight Zahringer. Old or used phones are refurbished and resold or they are properly disposed of according to EPA guidelines regarding wireless disposal.

Please help support SWDEV by donating your unwanted items. The more donated items, the more money will be donated to the SWDEV and the more earth we can protect from harm, so clean out your closets and basements and ask your friends to donate their items and bring them to the SWDEV meeting on November 16th .
